So, how does this learning our wedding dance thing work?
with you, your partner and your teacher. Some couples, however, also like to include the other members of their bridal party, or their parents. You just need to advise your wedding dance teacher prior to the first lesson of the numbers that will be attending the lesson.
You should try to plan ahead with your dance lessons.
Plan your dancing with as much forethought as you
would your dress, flowers, cake, cars etc.
After all, it will provide a lasting memory of your wedding day, which will linger on long after your flowers have died and the last bit of wedding cake has been eaten.
Around the time you are booking your music,
DJ or entertainment, is a good time to book your first dance lesson.
Make sure you give yourselves enough time before the wedding to get comfortable with your steps and with dancing together.
If you are after a recommended estimate, plan for at least 3 months, if not 4 months to learn your wedding dance and be comfortable with it.
but will depend on the length of time until your wedding, the amount of time in which you have to practise, and on the complexity of the dance routine which you would like to learn.
Remember, the number of lessons you have is flexible,
but ultimately the result you will achieve depends on the effort that you have put in as a couple.
