Hi-lo Aerobics and Step Aerobics with a difference
Aerobics classes with titles like 'Hi-lo' and 'FBC' have been around for decades. Basically, all they mean is aerobics done on the floor using no equipment. Just you and the music. The most recognised move from this genre of aerobics is 'the grapevine'.
Step Aerobics has been around for approximately 20 years. In this genre of aerobics, the 'step' with or without 'blocks' underneath become the focus of the choreography, stepping up, down, around, over the other side etc.
T-Style Aerobics and the Step Aerobics version, T-Step, were launched in 1997 after having attended 12 classes in the same week at several Sydney gyms. Inspired by the instructors there, Terry took there styles and fused them and his own creativity into T-Style aerobics, resulting in an amazingly creative, yet easy to follow class.
