NAATI Translator

NAATI Translator - Terry

A NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) Professional Translator, Terry (Director of Trada) holds a Graduate Diploma of Translation from the University of Western Sydney and a bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish language and literature from the University of Queensland.

He has a passion for languages, particularly French, Spanish and English. This started early as he studied French throughout high school, followed by several years of correspondence study. On the back of this interest in the language, Terry moved to France, where he lived, studied and worked for over a year. This immersion in spoken French and day-to-day activities, combined with his studies, has given Terry a thorough understanding of, and skills in, conversational and formal French as well as French culture.

Terry has also lived and worked in other countries, where he applied himself to learn the language. Trada was founded by Terry as a way to build a career based on his passion for languages. Terry keeps his French and Spanish language skills up to date through continuous application and, where possible, regular trips to France and Spain. Additionally, Terry is a qualified French and Spanish Primary and High School Teacher.
